New card at Stodola: honest taste, new ideas and dishes you'll return to

At "Ve Stodole" we believe that A menu is more than just a list of dishes.
It is the imprint of the people who make it. It is the mood of the time, the season, the experiences, and the desire to move forward.

Our new card It was created gradually, with respect for honest cuisine, but at the same time with a desire to bring Something new, fresh and distinctive.
Under the guidance of the head chef Peter Kudlace and the entire culinary team, we fine-tuned every detail – taste, texture, combinations, and service.

The result is a menu that combines Czech classics, modern gastronomy, and dishes that call for a beer or a glass of wine.

Soups: a sensible beginning

Soured cabbage soup

Cabbage soup, perhaps as you don't know it – and yet, it's intimately familiar.
Honest base, distinct cabbage flavour, meat and individual components served so that the guest can enjoy the soup in my own way.
Strong, aromatic and ideal as a starter or a main course.

Starters and small plates: a taste for detail

Steamed bao bun with pulled pork knuckle

Asia meets the Barn.
Soft steamed bao bun, juicy pulled pork knuckle, sauerkraut, mustard and pickled vegetables.
One bite is enough to know that this meal is dangerously addictive.

Our Farmhouse Pâté

The classic, done the way it should be.
Honest head cheese, horseradish cream, pickled onions in apple cider vinegar and sourdough bread.
Ideal with a beer, ideal for sharing – and ideal when you want flavour without compromise.

Czech Cuisine: Tradition with a Modern Touch

Beef picanha with dill sauce

Yes, dill sauce. But differently.
Slow-cooked beef, poached egg and buttered Grenaille potatoes.
A delicate, balanced one, and precisely the kind that can change the minds of even those who claim not to like dill soup.

Stodola beef goulash

Honest beef goulash with a chilli accent that adds depth without overpowering the flavour.
Served with bread or dumplings – the choice is yours.
A meal that warms you up, fills you up, and reminds you why Czech cuisine still has its place.

International Cuisine: Lightness and Colour

Beetroot risotto with goat's cheese

Creamy, smooth and vibrantly coloured.
Beetroot, goat's cheese and Crème fraîche create a perfectly balanced plate.
The ideal choice when you're looking for something lighter, but full of flavour.

With beer: dishes that belong at the table

Fried chicken wings Stodola

Crispy chicken wings, plum BBQ sauce and cucumber relish.
Dirty hands, a happy expression, and another beer ordered on the side.
Precisely as it should be.

Burgers and salads: your way, but done properly

Pulled pork burger from Stodola

A burger that doesn't eat quietly.
Pulled pork knuckle, horseradish mayonnaise, pickled gherkin and cabbage.
Juicy, flavourful, and exactly how a burger should be.

Halloumi and grilled cheese salad

Fresh, but definitely not boring.
Grilled Halloumi, baby spinach, rocket, fermented apple, fennel, pistachios, cucumber, radish and orange.
A salad that can easily stand as a main course.

In conclusion: a menu with soul

A new card in the Barn is the result of teamwork, experience and a desire to move forward.
It is built on honest ingredients, clear flavours, and respect for guests.
